Tomorrow is my little sister’s birthday. Actually, she’s not really that little anymore. She’s turning 15. FIFTEEN DAMMIT! That means she’ll start to learn to drive soon. She’s too young for that. Hn. Ah well, I got her two presents, but I’m not saying what they are here just in case she reads this before tomorrow. “Tsk tsk tsk.” if she found out. There’s a carnival at my school, sponsored entirely by the band (of which I’m a part), so in a couple of hours I have to go perform and then work two three hour shifts. Every high school band, Drumline, Colorguard, or orchestra member must work five shifts. The carnival lasts three days, and that means 15 hours from each of us… and my poor sister on her birthday, too. Sad, sad. I have to work two shifts tomorrow, too. I’d probably have to work another, but the clean-up shift (the last shift tomorrow) counts as two because everybody hates cleaning up. I like that shift especially, though, because we usually get done early and that means we get to go home earlier. I’m still working on some stuff for the Matthew/Kai relationship (from “One Homecoming”), but I’m not promising anything, because if I do I’ll feel like I have to do it, and that will make it not fun anymore. All right, that’s it for now.

As I write this I’m listening to “How You Remind Me” by Nickelback. I noticed at my last update how erratic my Random*Thoughts are… I guess that’s just random (haha). All right. I didn’t do much in school today, but it was a good day, mostly. Took a high school stereotypes online quiz and ended up being a Goth (no matter what I think I am, that’s what other people think I am, as it said. Wouldn’t it be nice to kill them all?)… Yea, so that’s about the tiptop of my day. OH!! I nearly forgot. Kenshin! If you guys haven’t seen that Animé yet, you absolutely must!!! In Animé Club (which meets on Tuesdays and Fridays at my school) we’re watching Kenshin (about Himura Kenshin, a young war veteran with super-killing skills that he doesn’t want to use anymore because his techniques were only used to kill… So, of course, he tries to use the skills only to protect other people, but is forced to resort to his “true nature” (as an enemy put it) to save those he loves). It’s one of the best shows ever! I’m thinking about cosplaying him at AniméExpo 2002 in Long Beach in July. Any comments? Email me. And I really want to write some slash about Kenshin, but I need to know more about the series and the OVA… that’ll come in time, hopefully. See you all later!!!

Hi all. I’m nearly finished painting my room, and I have to be done and it has to be dry before Wednesday morning so that the carpet people can come in and take up my old (yucky blue-colored) carpet and put in some nice dark blue carpet… Exciting..
Moving on. I was having a cow last night (I got to sleep at 3:30 AM my time) because I wasn’t ready for a 8 minute oral report I had to give in my Psychology class today during sixth period. Anyway… I was really worried I didn’t have enough information or something. But as it turns out, I was the only one in the entire class who was even ready at all, and now I’m done (I spoke in front of the class, too fast of course, but I’m done, so I don’t have to think about it anymore). I’m so relieved. You have no idea. I really am. Now I can go on with my life. No, you don’t understand. Oral reports are the bane of my existence. I’m being sarcastic here, but it’s nearly true. All right, I’ll stop babbling and add stuff to my writing section now. Go there to check out some of my work!

Hi everybody!!! I’m painting and re-carpeting my entire room and closet this week (YAY YAY YAY!!!). It’s a lot of work so far, but I know it will be worth it. And it’s well over-due. I’m not the kind of girl who has pink ribbons and bows painted on over a sky-blue wall, which is what I have now. Yesterday and this morning, I completely emptied out my entire room (it looks like I’m moving out for college or something)… and this afternoon, I washed and rinsed the walls and ceiling to get all the grease and oil off… I’m painting it “Majestic” which is a dark blue… and will “make the room look smaller” but I don’t care. The carpet is supposed to match, but I haven’t chosen that yet and my parents say it has to be left over from someone else’s carpeting job… This is half okay with me… I don’t want two or three or four different versions of carpet… that’s what I’m getting it re-carpeted for in the first place (and to match the walls, of course).
