August 28, 2002:
Sheesh, what is this, a weekly thing now? I aim to update this thing weekly at least, but you know how school and church and other stuff can get in the way. New news from little old me? Let’s see. I met this cute little twelve year-old at Family Camp when I went (with my family, of course) last, last week. Her name is… well I’m not going to tell you since I don’t want to endanger anyone but myself on this thing, you know? Anyways, she’s really cute and adorable… and her parents are veeery conservative. So I gave her two of my email addresses and she emailed me eventually (she doesn’t live anywhere near where I do) and of course I emailed her back with a link to this site, right?

SOOO… Continuing with my story. So I’m sitting here this morning, checking my email like I normally do (I hate the word “normal”), and I get this email from my new friend’s FATHER, who goes on to say that he appreciates my “accepting the responsibility of a Christian role model as her friend” and then reminds me “in a loving and grateful way” that she just turned twelve and has no older sisters. Then he writes that he and his wife don’t let her watch any movies or TV shows unless they are approved by them, and they consider themselves very conservative. Actually, in his words it was: “and one would say that we are quite conservative”. And I’m like, “HELP ME!” I don’t want to be a bad role model, but I doubt that my version of a good “Christian role model” is the same as theirs. If anything, this website ITSELF is a bad role model, at least considering how conservative they have admitted to being. I’m worried about this now, because I really like the girl, but I was the very LEAST conservative person, by far, that she could’ve latched onto that week. Eesh… I’ll ask around as to what I should do, and get back to you later with more.

August 21, 2002:
Hey all. It’s been a busy summer for me, and it’ll probably be a busier year… Oh yay… Aren’t we all happy about that. Okay, so Senior registration is tomorrow and I’m sitting here actually WISHING to be at band workshops this week and band camp next week. Eesh. What the hell am I thinking, ne? I’m just so totally a band nerd; it’s not even funny. And I desperately need a job, so I can pay off my parents, so I can start driving again. Dammit, I hate not being able to drive. It makes me dependent on others, and that’s what I really hate. Yuck. I’m an independent girl, for sure.

Anyways, I’ve been able to write a lot just lately and I created three more characters for all of you to deal with… heheheheh… That is, besides the one I already have on this site. One of them has no name (yet, mind you), but the other two are “Lady Fey” and “Beauty”. Yea, yea, so the name “Beauty” isn’t that original (in fact, it’s really not, but that’s beside the point), and I usually use it as a working name for girls I haven’t come up with permanent names for, but it fit the character, so I left it this time. Great. Now I have to find another working name. Great. Oh well. I’m over it.

August 15, 2002:
Yay… so guess what? I got my braces off yesterday! YES!! I’m so happy… even though my whole mouth feels kind of slimy. Don’t ask. I had them on for SIX YEARS… heheh. I bet that’s more than most of you who’re reading this. And I also bet most of you didn’t even know I had braces in the first place. Well I did, but now I don’t. Hahahahaha to all of you who are going to get them or still have them. And if my favourite girl is reading this before tomorrow when I see you, you shouldn’t be! That’s part of my surprise. Oh, well, act surprised, will you? Grin.

HAHA… See that? I don’t need a boy friend. Grin. I know one person who’ll be pleased with that discovery. Grin. Love you.

August 13, 2002:
HEY HEY HEY!! I’m SOO outta there! Hehe. Yea, so I got back from Christian prison camp on Saturday afternoon. It wasn’t really THAT bad, but I didn’t want to go in the first place, so it made it all the worse. I only complained once to my parents (who did want to go), to make sure I didn’t ruin THEIR vacation too. And it was on Catalina Island, so it wasn’t like I could just leave anytime. Ech. Moving on.

I’m applying for a job at SaVon (TM, or ®, or ©, I’m sure) down below the United Artists Theatre where I live. If you know where that is, you can come down and keep me company! Yay.
