Ladies and gents of the gallery…

…I wanted to give you a heads up as to why I haven’t been around recently. Last Monday evening I found a lump in one of my breasts and have been very nervous and jumpy about it ever since. There is a history of breast cancer in my family, so I’m not taking any chances. I went to Appel today to have it looked at and the doctor recommended I get an x-ray/mammogram/whatever of my breasts to make sure everything is okay. I will be going to the Lancaster General Women & Babies Hospital on Friday to see what’s up.
If you think about it, please send me soothing thoughts or prayers or whatever you’re comfortable with, since I’m really freaked out by the prospect of having breast cancer. I wanted to let you all know since you’re my extended family and I love and trust you. Please keep this on the low-down… I’d rather not have EVERYone know and would like to not worry too much about it if it’s really nothing at all.
