  2. The mezzo soprano who sang with the rest of the quartet during “Ode to Joy”.
  3. Being able to get up and leave when the dinner conversation about WoW has lasted more than ten minutes.
  4. Living in a country in which it is not only all right for me to dissent, it is expected and even encouraged.
