- F&M, which paid for my ticket to Beethoven’s Ninth last evening at the Fulton Opera House.
- The mezzo soprano who sang with the rest of the quartet during “Ode to Joy”.
- Being able to get up and leave when the dinner conversation about WoW has lasted more than ten minutes.
- Living in a country in which it is not only all right for me to dissent, it is expected and even encouraged.
- Artificial sun and artificial snow.
