I worry about him. I wish he would get better. I wish he could get better. I wish he WANTED to get better. I wish it was okay with him to ask for help.
He is in the place I was in a year and a half ago.
I wish I knew what to do. I feel so powerless to help him. Should I even be trying?

Remember my 2006 New Year’s resolutions? Here’s an update.
overall
get out of debt (excepting college loans)… WORKING on it
work on 43 things (actually 17 things)….. WORKING on it
sign-up for and take the GRE………………. YES
apply to grad schools………………………….. NEXT semester
monthly
pay bills on time………………………………… YES, so far
apply for two scholarships………………….. HAH, yeah right
weekly
go to the gym twice or take two walks….. HAH, yeah right
do one creative writing prompt…………….. HAH, yeah right
write one poem………………………………….. HAH, yeah right
daily
check email only twice………………………… OFF and on
brush teeth and wash face……………………. OFF and on
So, I’m ditching the weekly resolutions and sticking to the overall and daily ones… plus the one about paying my bills.

Anime Club was tonight. We watched Ghost in the Shell. I was happy.
Our yearbook photo was taken. Kim went home last weekend and was not in the picture.
Kim was not there. I was sad. I went back to my room lonely.
