School Schedule, Autumn 2006

Sooo, I might be writing editorials for The College Reporter (TCR). Not that I have TIME to do such a thing, of course. WHAT am I thinking? I also have to fit in Today in Alternate History (TiAH), an ezine-type publication for which I write twice a month. Plus, since I’m a senior there are a bunch of “senior activities” I’m supposed to attend, apply to grad schools, and get help from career services so I have a life after undergrad. Not to mention all the homework I’m already buried under. And there’s Diplocon II. And Greek Council Judicial Board meetings (which meet irregularly but often enough to be annoying).

Each Week, sometime
homework, grad school stuff, TCR editorial, TiAH entry
Diplocon, getting ready for club meetings/events that I lead
miscellaneous Kappa stuff, attending events of friends to support them

+ meals, personal hygiene, down time, and sleep

That may not seem like a lot on paper, but actually try DOING it all for a week or so and you’ll know why I’m either too busy to talk or sleeping all the time. I also would like to volunteer at Lancaster Regional Medical Center (the closest hospital to my apartment), but I don’t think I’m going to be able to if I want to stay sane/healthy… no pun intended. Sometimes I wish I was more able to help people.

  1. The spider living between my window and window screen. I named her Juneau.
  2. My printer/scanner/copier/fax. It’s just amazing, awesome, and much better than my old hand-me-down.
  3. Actually, having a printer at all is pretty awesome, so I think I like my old one too.
  4. The lovely Kappa dinner, homemade by one of our very own.
  5. Rain. It rained all night last night.
