Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood Gerrymandered To Serve King Friday’s Make-Believe Agenda

MISTER ROGERS’ NEIGHBORHOOD, PA—A plan to radically redistrict Mr. Rogers’ Neighborhood to further cement the control of the powerful King Friday XIII political machine is expected to pass this week and deeply affect current taxation structure, voting patterns, and services. “Meow-me-meow can’t afford meow property tax as it stands now meow, and meow don’t want everything I’ve worked for to be destroyed meow,” said one resident, who asked to remain anonymous. Among the anticipated changes are sharp cutbacks in speedy deliveries, the elimination of trolley routes to such low-income districts as Someplace Else and the platypus mound, as well as the destruction of the Museum-Go-Round to make room for a massive new headquarters for The Electric Company.

And this seems oddly appropriate, too. I wonder why.

Monday’s really aren’t my day…

  1. … but Ben’s still here for a while longer!
  2. Went to the store this afternoon after class…
  3. … and got some more bananas, cheese, and milk!
  4. RUNNING WATER. You have NO IDEA how awesome running water really is…
  5. … until you’ve lugged all your crap up three flights of stairs and need a drink!

That is, Anime Club Drama. I thought we were all grown ups here. Instead, I get a bunch of whiney two year-olds who feel like their “rights” are being impinged. People who don’t like the way I do things because “it’s not like it used to be… why can’t we vote anymore?… what about more choices?… blah blah blah… whine whine whine…”

If you don’t like it, run for office and get elected and change things! But until I’m out of office, we’re going to do things as democratically as is possible, but that doesn’t mean it’s going to be as democratically as you want it to be. Just suck it up. Or leave the club. Or whatever. Threatening to leave isn’t going to bother me; it’s going to bother YOU. I’ll be watching anime and you won’t.

I HATE people who complain about the poor batting average but the refuse to step up to the plate to bat for themselves!
