  1. HAHAHa. I like the number “86″… as in, She was eighty-sixed.
  2. I learned what (to be) “straight-edge” really means: “advocating abstinence from alcohol, cigarettes, drugs, and sex and sometimes advocating vegetarianism”…
  3. … most of which I do/am… and that’s awesome.
  4. Rush Night #2 (out of three) went decently well.
  5. Chocolate.

Fresh Faces

Noted Dermatologist and GMA consulting physician Loretta Ciraldo MD has the answers to all your personal make over questions, and more, in her new book, “6 Weeks to Sensational Skin: Dr. Loretta’s Beauty Camp Handbook for your Freshest Face” (Rodale/September 2006/$20/Link).

I have another book that seems similar to Ciraldo’s at home, but I don’t think it’s as compact. Then again, it covers more stuff (ie: how to get great hair, leg shaving/waxing tips, etc) rather than “just” skin care. HOWEVER, having the skin I have… which is decent but not ideal, I’m interested in looking over the tips in this book. Six weeks in theory seems like an okay amount of time, but in this “I want it and I want it NOW” culture (which I have, at least somewhat, bought into) six weeks is like forEVER; heaven knows that I can’t keep up a regime of ANYthing for that long unless I can’t live with out it (whatever “it” may be… like showering). Still, if you’re willing to stick to the advice, it may be worth getting this book.

  1. I’m (nearly) sure I aced my South Africa class quiz today.
  2. An AMAZING speaker in my Women’s Healing Systems class.
  3. A decent turnout at Students for Marriage Equality this evening!
  4. My printer. It’s hooked up to my phone line and makes a nice ringing when someone calls.
  5. Not many people call! (In case you don’t know: for me, that’s good.)
