Pay-per-Post: DealASite

At DealASite.com, people buy and sell domain names (and websites). Unlike buying/selling from/to someone you don’t even know on a forum, DealASite is a clean, concise database of “internet real estate”… A word of caution: the traders on this site are extremely skilled at what they do, so you should know what you’re doing, too. DealASite stresses its credibility, reliability, and authenticity–but, in the end, it’s always best to look for yourself.

  1. Went to my classes AND to work.
  2. Met with Prof. Zolov and have confirmed that he really DOES want to help students…
  3. … because, although he’s tough and (at times) intimidating, he CARES…
  4. … which makes me glad I didn’t listen to Yager when he told me not to take a class with Zolov.
  5. Congrats, first-year members of North Ben House (Ware College House) Parliament!

Pay-per-Post: Baby Clothing

Some people have decided that babies will look better in cool baby clothes ah la Hollywood rocker style (such as the ones pictured). TinyRocker is a new clothing store for children based on the idea that [1] their baby clothing is NOT boring (unlike most other baby clothing), [2] their clothes impact babies in a positive way because they (babies, that is) learn from what they see, and [3] their clothes will make their little patrons “the coolest kids on the playground”.

After looking at the site for myself, I can definitely say that at least [1] is true. [2] and [3]??? Weeell, that’s a matter of taste. I personally do not think that my (theoretical) kid wearing a shirt that says “Illegitimate” or “For Sale By Owner” or has a picture of a “Baby AK-47″ on it is going to have a “positive influence” on the kid (or any OTHER kid, for that matter). And while those kinds of shirts may make the kid cool on the playground with the other kids, I doubt it will make ME cool with the other kids’ PARENTS. If the kid is 12 or 13 or older, there’s not much I can do about what they wear, but when they’re 6 months? I’M the one dressing him in the first place.

To be fair, I like the shirt that says “Stop Smelling My Head”…

  1. Have managed to keep a hold of things thus far…
  2. … and I don’t feel like I’m going to implode (yet)… let’s hope that doesn’t change.
  3. Suuuuuundaaaaaaaaay….. Laaaaaazy Suuuuuuuuuundaaaaaay!
  4. The U.S. Post Office does NOT deliver mail on Sundays…
  5. … which means I don’t have to worry about any bills.

Pay-per-Post: Search Engine

This is another plug for SEO Austin, the largest search engine optimization firm in Austin, and the fastest growing in Texas. As expected, everything is larger in Texas (I can say that since I was born there and my mom won’t let me forget it), so it’s safe to assume that this firm is no exception. [Note: SEO = search engine optimization]
