  1. Got out of class early… two days in a row. Better enjoy that while it lasts.
  2. Independent study registration thingy signed, so now I only need to turn it in to the registrar.
  3. The US Postal Service. I love them; they make living sooo much easier, no joke.
  4. Double-paned windows. I can stay warm AND see outside–marvelous!
  5. Former director of The Kinsey Institute explains that, actually, sex during menstruation isn’t really that bad (unless you LIKE being squeamish and uptight about it).

Pay-per-Post: Rimini Street

[If you hadn't guessed from the first part of the title, this is a paid post.]

These guys have their work cut our for them if they expect to live up to their own advertisement(s). Rimini Street offers customers a PeopleSoft, JD Edwards, and Siebel support and maintenance program that “provides named support engineers, fixes for serious application issues, and guarantees case response in less than 30 minutes, all at 50% cost savings.” Honestly, I’m not sure how that’s possible. I mean, they offer so much more at that much of a reduced price? Seems too good to be true. So, I’m hopeful–but skeptical. Rimini Street works with USi, TSANet, Microsoft, and Quest. After a tiny bit of digging, I discovered that the 50% claim is good when compared with Oracle support. Anyway, I recommend checking them out, if you’re in the market, but be on guard for scam-like behavior on the website–just in case.

  1. Hi-ho, hi-ho, it’s off to class I go.
  2. Free money! Found a dollar on the ground today.
  3. Free food! Not having any money forces me to go where the (free) food is, which gets me out of the house.
  4. An unclogged toilet. You have NO IDEA.
  5. Chatting with Esther early this afternoon.
