- Making a list of unfinished homework and realizing that it’s not as bad as I thought.
- ZOMFGBBQZors! There was a tiny bit of snow falling this morning. It’s looking good for future snow!
- Nice-smelling soap. Or any kind of soap at all–it contributes to cleanliness, which is always a good thing.
- Kleenex! I don’t ever remember how lovely it is until I don’t have any left! T_T
- Being able to discern SPAM emails without opening every one.
Pay-per-Post: Online coupon/promo codes

[If you hadn't guessed from the first part of the title, this is a paid post.]
If you know me, you know that I like stuff. New stuff, old stuff–the only requirement is, basically, that I don’t already have it. I’m seriously cutting down on my shopping, but my favorite place to buy “stuff” is—not hard to guess–Amazon.com. They have everything there, even groceries, but I most often go there to oogle at books–and sometimes buy one or two if I can’t resist. I swear I’m getting better about that.
Anyway, my $$$ goes a lot further with coupon codes, aka: promo (promotion) codes. They’re those seemingly random numbers and letters you put in when checking out of an online store that lowers the price of one (or more) of your items. Meaning… more $$$ for you. Unless you’re like me, of course, who plans for the savings and buys more to “make up for it”… which I’m sure online retailers just love. -_-

in my home city,
there’s no “inclement weather”
except smog, brush fires
Los Angeles is
not known for white Christmas;
no need for snow plows
I went to New York
where it was colder than a
hell frozen over
Manhattan was nice
but I just wanted to sleep;
I can’t once school starts!

- NOT having to worry about how alcohol will affect my medicine, etc… since I don’t drink.
- (Almost) free lunch! Greek-ish with pita bread and those rice things wrapped in olive (grape?) leaves.
- Holding my own in a “debate” over my sorority inactivity this semester (don’t ask -_-).
- The colder it gets (within reason, of course), the more likely I’ll see snow! *hopes*
- No class tomorrow (but I’ve already got a TON of work x_x).
