Doll Palace

[In case you're wondering, this is a paid post.]

Come play dress up games with me at The Doll Palace! The one you see to the left is from the collection of customizable Princess Dolls (I named her Katy, after my sister!), but there are fairies, mermaids, pirates, holiday-themed, gothic, emo, Lolita, hippies, angels, and more, too! You can even make boy dolls to go along with your girlies.

If you’re really excited about these virtual dolls, you can get get a premium membership, which allows you to create even more unique dolls and access some of the features that are only offered to paying members. It’s only $2 per month and come with a lot of benefits, but if you’re unsure, you can always “get your feet wet” with a free membership.

ALSO, it’s possible to create dolls that look like your favorite Disney characters–I checked for Belle, specifically–although I don’t think they can actually say that they’re using Disney’s character’s clothing because of copyright reasons or something. Anyway, if you liked dressing up dolls and “having tea” or “playing house” as a child, you should check out Doll Palace. At the very least, you can use the doll makers to help you visualize your D&D or fiction character(s).

  1. Deodorant. You have NO IDEA how awesome deodorant is until you’re sitting next to someone who isn’t wearing any.
  2. Hearing sirens and seeing ambulance lights and knowing that I don’t need them (and hopefully never will!).
  3. Rejected cartoons, first shown to me the evening of my junior prom by [info]last_highlander.
  4. HBO’s Big Love has an intriguing take on polygamy.
  5. Anime Club this evening!
