Update on Dallas/Philadelphia

I have a new flight! I was on hold for more than an HOUR and a HALF. GAH. It was terrible. TER-EEEEE-BUL, I tell you. Soooo… [drumroll, please]… It’s on Monday. At the same time (and same flight #) as my flight was yesterday… but on Monday.

GAH.

It’s like everyone who’s trying to get to the Northeast this weekend is beating their heads against a huge snow/ice wall. And those poor USAir employees are taking the brunt of the anger. Not that I’M not angry, too… I just try to remember that THEY (the employees) don’t want to deal with this, either.

I will be missing class on Monday, since I won’t be leaving HERE until my class THERE is already over. I emailed the professor. I’m tired of traveling by air. I’d really like to take the train from now on. I know it takes longer, but it’s much more pleasant and gets me MUCH closer to my final destination before being all stopped up. Unfortunately, taking the train is ALSO more expensive than flying.

*screams*

This, somehow, seems to happen a lot.

Yes, so… I’m stuck in Dallas… like I was stuck in Las Vegas that one time… except people are more likely to believe me when I say “I was stuck in Dallas.”

No fear, I have family here and will be staying with them until I can get my hands on some USAirways officials to wring their necks through to someone real at their 800 number to rescedule my canceled flight.

I spent all day today traveling and didn’t actually go any where.
