I’ve had trouble with this kind of thing in the past… and will probably continue to have trouble with it as long as I bother myself with blogging. CustomerMagnetism.com (online at the link above or by phone at 1-866-798-3862) specializes in “search engine positioning”–which means you pay them to get people to go to your site. “Most websites,” they claim, “are only being used as… online brochure[s]” and “moving your website to the top of the search results within the major search engines will transform it into a powerful source of business development.” CustomerMagnetism.com breaks up the scary world of SEOs and ranking into three parts: natural listings, sponsored listings, and link building. Natural listings are free, like the ones NOT highlighted in blue in this example; sponsored listings ARE highlighted in blue (in this case, only one listing) and are always at the top of the results page.
