- Pedro helped me dismantle my daybed late last night. *loves Pedro*
- … and someone’s coming to take it away later this afternoon! YAY.
- Mostly done packing. Still need to do: computer stuff, kitchen stuff, the rest of my clothing.
- Stephen King’s On Writing is actually interesting. What a relief.
- Galactica Viper Pilot Logs = amazing. Seriously; go watch them.

Of course, everyone loves Florida’s orange juice, but the state actually boasts a $87 billion (yes, that’s right: billion) agriculture industry that provides food for the entire world! “Fresh From Florida” helps market the state’s agriculture and shows the importance to and impact on Florida’s farmers. Please, watch this video about Florida’s agriculture and consider buying food homegrown in the future.

I’M GOING TO WILKES!
I’ve applied to all of the schools I’m (currently) looking into. Two have accepted me (OMFG|YAY), and two have rejected me (booooooo)… well, one and a half, really (see my notes below). The other three are still up in the air; I’ve completed my application to each but haven’t heard from any yet. I don’t suppose they matter anymore since I’ve decided to attend Wilkes University in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania. I also applied to NYC Teaching Fellows, but was rejected.
Accepted: Wilkes, LIU, VCU (½)
Rejected: Temple, VCU (½), NYCTF
Notes:
–I was accepted by Wilkes!! …but rejected by the NYCTF program. *sigh*
–Not bothering to apply to New College since I’ve already decided to attend Wilkes.
–The VCU program is actually two programs into which I must be accepted separately. I was accepted to one, rejected by the other.
Creative Writing Programs:
Long Island University, Brooklyn Campus (LIU)
Temple University (Temple)
Naropa University (Naropa)
Wilkes University (Wilkes)
Social Work Programs:
Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU)
Other Programs:
New York City Teaching Fellows (NYCTF)
University of San Francisco (USF)
