As I mentioned in My Cause #1, I’m blogging for SWP. (I will be tagging this post “sex” and “sex work” at the end of the month so that people will have a chance to read it before then since those two tags are protected on this journal.)

Sex Workers Anonymous
When it’s time for the curtain call – and the show is over – it’s finally time to come home… Sex Workers Anonymous (formerly Prostitutes Anonymous), is a 12 step group of men and women for whom the sex industry became a problem. The only requirement for membership is a desire to leave the sex industry.
Network of Sex Work Projects
NSWP is a legally constituted international organisation for promoting sex workers’ health and human rights. With member organizations in more than 40 countries, the Network develops partnerships with technical support agencies to work on independently-financed projects.
Sex Workers Outreach Project East
Sex Workers Outreach Project- East is a chapter of SWOP – USA, a national social justice network dedicated to the fundamental human rights of sex workers and their communities, focusing on ending violence and stigma through education and advocacy… SWOP East, at its most basic, is an anti-violence campaign. As a multi-state network of sex workers and advocates, we address locally and nationally the violence that sex workers experience because of their criminal status.
International Committee on the Rights of Sex Workers in Europe
The main goals of the foundation are to bring sex workers and their allies together on an European and international level: (1) to further the social acceptance and respect for sex workers; (2) to promote their civil and human rights; (3) to organise the support of allies… The foundation also works on ending the sexual stigma of women, gays and lesbians and transgender people and in general to promote the self-determination of women.
