#11 is the Kenshin/Kaoru moment in Black Blood Brothers (wiki) between Jiro and Mimiko.
Jiro deals the death blow to August
(If you don’t know the Kenshin/Kaoru moment to which I’m referring, watch episode 30 of Rurouni Kenshin [wiki]. In that episode, Kaoru watches Kenshin’s Battosai persona begin to emerge and she begins to lose hope that she’ll ever see the gentle rurouni persona again.)
Kotaro comforts Mimiko, who is in despair
While Jiro fights August at the end of episode 7, Mimiko drops to her knees in apparent despair and I was like… “Whoa. Deja vu.” The moment was gone as fast as it had come, but really, we’re all about the moments here, aren’t we?

As per the 12 Moments in Anime 2009, I’ve decided—one day late (as per my own schedule), of course—to participate. I understand that the original post called for posts from December 14-25, but I know that the 12 Days of Christmas actually starts on Christmas Day, so I’ll be following that.
Since I’m way organized and everything, I’ll be sticking this post to the top of the journal until January 6th, at which time I’ll send it back to it’s original time slot. I will also be updating this post with links for each day’s entry and will be posting three entries (including this one) today; this entry, one for yesterday, and one for today.
