#4 is Anime News Network (ANN), where I get all my reliable information about pretty much any anime or manga I can think of. As I’m sure you’ve all noticed, all my links are to the ANN page of an anime, not the “official” website. I do this for a couple of reasons. First, often there is no official website (that I can find). Second, if I’m able to find one, the website is in Japanese, which does me no good at all since I can’t read anything but English (sadface). Third, I’ve found that the ANN page and wiki page combined have more information about a series than an official page would, since the official page is primarily just for promotion. Finally, the links for ANN pages are more stable than if I were to link to a now-popular official page which may not even exist in a year’s time, much less be updated.
Here’s to Anime News Network, a website which makes my life a little easier!
