[Note: this post is part of a multiple-post recap and review about Anime Expo 2011.]

A quickie post about Anime Expo 2011 (AX’s 20th anniversary!):

Stood in the “I pre-registered and now I’m picking up my convention badge” line for two hours with a man in his forties named Alan and an Asian teenage girl who practically talked my ear off. Didn’t catch her name, though. Alan told me about PotterMore, which I promptly signed up for upon getting back home. Saw a friend of mine, Wesley, who said he convinced his friend to drive all four days on the condition that he bought the friend’s ticket/badge. Left the house at 5 PM and got back home at 8:30—not too shabby, considering I was expecting the wait to be much longer. Paid $5 for parking; will be taking the train tomorrow with Bunny and Angela, a friend of Bunny’s. I’ll be taking my camera and will be documenting the four-day festivities with, I’m sure, copious notes and trinkets. We have a hotel room this year, so I might actually be able to post at the con, but I doubt I’ll be up for it. We’ll see.

Oh, right. I’m going as a Preventer. Because, you know, I’m a die-hard Gundam Wing fan. Haha—1×2 forever.

Okay, now off to bed until tomorrow morning! Need to be getting to the train station at 7:30 AM… With Bunny and Angela in tow, that’s going to be a feat. ugh.
