30-Day Poetry: 01

Day 1—Write a poem where each line starts with a letter from your first name (an acrostic). It can be about anything, but it should not be about you or your name.

Vying for the attentions of an
Indescribable pit in the stomach of
Another woman’s heart can
Not be a good idea when I’ve
Never met said woman, despite
All my brothers’ and sisters’
Heliotropic interest.
