30-Day Poetry: 05

Day 5—Write a three-line poem about lemons without using the following words: lemon, yellow, round, fruit, citrus, tart, juicy, peel, and sour.

From a small evergreen tree native to Asia

Lucky you didn’t take a larger
bite and let the taste slide past your lips.
Pucker up!
