Poetry 02

All my poems seem
to start with “when I was…”
and continue on to say
“a child” or “just a kid” or
“in college” or something;
at least, they do in my head.
I suppose it’s to my credit
that none actually begin that way
by the time I’ve finished with them.

Prompt: Write a poem with pen and ink, quickly, without lifting your pen from the page. Post image if possible. No edits. NaPoWriMo
