In my very first post on my very first website, I wrote, among other things:
But, in the end, I’d rather be a pessimist who is pleasantly surprised once in a while than an optimist who is let down nearly all the time.
I’ve come a long way since then, and this website is no longer a personal journal the way it once was. I saved all my writing before revamping my site in late 2021 and early 2022, and it ended up being more than 3000 pages set in 10-point sans serif font. Some of that I have reposted here, back-dated to it’s original posting date, but most of it no longer serves this website the way it once did. Now it’s just a snapshot in time on my computer, and this site is being used for business instead of personal life.
This post is here to honor the length of time I’ve had my own website through its many iterations.
